Like I said, I'm Autumn and I am currently a seventeen year old high school graduate. Because I am seventeen, I'm not going to sound all adult and sophisticated. I'm still a crazy kid! In the fall, I am attending college and will be tackling the major of Fashion Merchandising. I am hoping to use this major to pursue my dream of making costumes for Disney, Broadway, American Girl, or the film industry. Despite this major, I do not consider myself to be a "girly-girl". I'm more of a jeans and T-shirt kind of girl!
I love to sew, which is good if I want to make costumes for a living! :)

I love Disney and always wanted to be a Disney princess at Disneyworld/land until I found out that I am "too short" to qualify (I'm only 5'2"). When I found that out... whew, that was devastating. Currently, my favorite Disney movie is Tangled. It is so incredible!
I also have a passionate love for superheroes. That seed was planted when I was little. I grew up with DC Comics heroes and ran around in a Wonder Woman costume quite often. I love the Avengers movie and all the Marvel movies leading up to that (Iron Man, Thor, etc). I cannot answer the question of who my favorite Avenger is because they are all so awesome!! :)
I love smiley faces- if you have not figure that out- and they will be dotting this blog quite often.
I love to eat! I mean, don't most people? My favorite meal would probably be ribs... Although I do LOVE the Monte Cristo sandwich from Cheddars- try it ya'll, it's so good! However, like most members of the female species I LOVEEEE chocolate!!! That's my favorite food because it can't qualify as a meal.
I love to collect things! I go to antique stores/flea markets/yard sales with my mom and we have fun decorating with the random collectables we get! :)
Lastly, and probably most important, I am a Christian. I go to a non-denominational church and quite enjoy it! :) This is what I believe and my intent is not to offend anyone- I know many people don't and won't agree with my beliefs. I'm not trying to make anyone feel awkward or anything- once again, this is what I believe!! For me, it's my life- not a religion. It's who I am!

OK! So here's the deal! I have thought up a schedule, but don't know how well I can follow it when school starts back up. I'll let you know but right now this is what my plan is! :)
Monday- Media Monday: I love media (music, movies, etc!). So this is when I'll share some of my favorite movies/music/T.V. shows, etc. Then, I'll post something like a movie/music/TV show review, explain why I like them, and all that good stuff :)
Tuesday- Tackle-it Tuesday: this day should be fun! What I'm planning on doing for this is simple: tackle something today! Not like football tackle, but like tackling a project! I know there's things all of us have to get done but never feel like doing. THIS IS THE TIME! :) So, what I will do is find a project that needs tackling and do it! I'll post before and after pictures and tell you what it was. It can range anywhere from easy (like washing dishes) to hard (painting the house). If you have projects you've tackled, you are welcome to email your before and after pictures to aprincessfromfaraway@gmail.com!!
Wednesday- Whatever Wednesday: this is when I'll talk about whatever (hence the name)! I'll share stuff and it'll hopefully be interesting :)
Thursday- Talking Thursday: I like to talk. I talk all the time. I'm assuming you all like to talk, too!! So here, you guys can email me things you'd like to talk about, questions, whatever, and I'll choose one or two and answer!! :) And you can talk about anything- as long as it is appropriate :) I'm trusting you guys!
Friday- Photo Friday: first off, I know 'photo' doesn't start with an 'f'. But if you say it, they make the same sound :) SO! This is where I'll share a photo of, well, whatever! It could be funny, cute, true, whatever, but I'll explain why I picked it and I'll tell you a story about me that relates to it! :) It'll be fun!
Saturday- Scrumdiddlyumptious Saturday: this word, scrumdiddlyumptious, was coined by Roald Dahl (aka I have no rights to it). According to the Urban dictionary, this word means "really delicious or really marvelous". So what I plan on doing here is making some type of food (because who doesn't love to eat?!) and posting the recipe and what I thought of it here!! Along with pictures to make you want to try it yourself!
Sunday- Spiritual Sunday: Now this is the day that I share something with you guys. I'm going to give you a Bible verse or a story that helped me through my week, had an impact on me, or I just want to share with you! I realize that not everyone believes what I do, like I mentioned above, but this is me sharing something encouraging with you- not "forcing my beliefs" or anything on you. My goal is not to judge you or force anything on you, but instead to lift you up and encourage you! Just bear with me! :)
With all that said, let's get this party started! :)
